THE FIRST MEETING OF HONORARY CONSULS IN LATIN AMERICAN COUNTRIES HAS BEEN HELD
The first joint meeting of Honorary Consuls of Mongolia to Latin American countries was held on May 4, 2023 in Panama City, Panama. The event was organized by the Embassy of Mongolia in the Republic of Cuba in cooperation with the Honorary Consuls, and was participated by Mr. Marco Arica, Honorary Consul of Mongolia to the Republic of Peru, Mr. Ignacio Bartesaghi, Honorary Consul in the Eastern Republic of Uruguay as well as the candidates for Honorary Consul in the Dominican Republic and Panama.
At the meeting, the Honorary Consuls have exchanged opinions on developing active cooperation between Mongolia and the countries of the Latin American in the fields of trade, business, education, culture, and tourism, as well as the steps and measures to be taken in the future to protect the legal rights and interests of Mongolian citizens residing in their respective consular district, while guidelines and recommendations were given to the Honorary Consuls from the Embassy. Furthermore, Ambassador Sh.Battsetseg handed over the seal to Mr. Marco Arica, Honorary Consul appointed to Peru and Ignacio Bartesaghi, Honorary Consul in Uruguay, and wished them every success in their work.
