The US has updated its list of countries to be covered by its H-2 non-immigrant worker program

The United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) has updated the list of foreign countries eligible for the 2023 H-2A and H-2B nonimmigrant worker programs.

Mongolia first started participating in the H2 program in 2018, but was removed from the H2-A program in 2021 due to the fact that Mongolia did not meet the regulatory standards of the H-2A visa program. Thus, in 2023, our country will be able to continue to participate only in the H-2B program.

The decision will be effective for one year from the date of publication and will include 86 countries in the H-2A program and 87 countries in the H-2B program.
