First consular consultation meeting between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary was held in Budapest, Hungary on September 9^th, 2022. The meeting was co-chaired by Mr. Nyamdorj Ankhbayar, State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia and by Mr. Adam Stifter, Assistant State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary.

During the meeting the two sides exchanged views on bilateral consular issues such as the facilitation of travel between Mongolia and Hungary by citizens of both sides, protection of the rights of citizens living or travelling abroad and providing assistance to Mongolian contract-workers who are in need of support, as well as other bilateral issues.
