Project to support employment of people with disabilities being implemented

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Protection S.Zulpkhar received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Mongolia Kobayashi Hiroyuki and Head of the Japanese Ethic Committee Ito Naoki.

During the meeting, the parties discussed projects implemented jointly with the Government of Japan and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) in labor and social protection. In particular, the Labor and Social Protection Service Center under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Mongolia was opened in Japan and provides employment and social protection services to Mongolian citizens living there. In addition, in cooperation with JICA, a project is being implemented between 2021 and 2025 to support the employment of people with disabilities. In this context, it is planned to train 200 people as Job Coach, 70 of which will be trained this year.

Head of the Japanese Ethics Committee Ito Naoki shared her views on the ways to improve family relations and social consciousness in today’s era of rapidly growing technology, ensure the right of children to be loved and cared for, and how to maintain real relationships between people.
